We are proud to announce that Star Q has been nominated for Montreal DJ of
the Year in the 2012 Stylus Awards.

“I know that everyone has to say this, but it really is an honor just to be
nominated,” said Star Q about Stylus. “The group of DJs that are up for the
award this year are some of the best. Not only in Montreal, but all of Canada.”
Star Q is nominated alongside JoJo Flores, Keith Dean, Kwite Sane, Payce, and
Special K

This has been a busy year for Star Q. He has DJed over 150 events and parties,
including a 15 city tour across the United States in conjunction with Brazzers. He
has played on MusiquePlus alongside Mugz and has shared the stage with such
artists as French Montana.

Star Q currently holds two weekly DJ residencies in Montreal - at Nuvo and the
Complex. He also has a weekly radio show; More Fyah on CJLO (1690am). This
Summer/Fall Star Q will be touring across Canada.

This is not Star Q’s first accolade at Stylus. In 2008 he won Reggae DJ of the
Year as part of Little Thunder Sound. This is Star Q’s first nomination as a solo
DJ

The Stylus Awards presented by Pioneer DJ will take place in Toronto on May
